The winter bride should be celebrated with a look that enhances her beauty. The emphasis is more on necklines.

Loose the earrings and choose a large choker - it enhances the neck and adds instant drama to even the simplest look.

Emeralds and diamonds are a deadly combination. You cannot go wrong with that look.

Wear a necklace cum choker which wraps around the bride's neck. Ornate, yet light to wear, the jewellery should play with the bride's neckline. A sleek mangtika, choker and a nose ring would be a very sexy look for the winter bride.

When it comes to earrings, the chandelier earrings are back. Let them make a statement with bold designs and large stones.

I recommend gold as a must have in your collection. Gold is working its way up in the international market too... and gold packs in a combination of being subtle and sexy. On the warmer Indian tones, it does wonders in complementing it.

The look: Elegant and innocent. The winter bride should be a combination of a child and a confident woman.

When it comes to shopping for jewelery... a bride needs to keep in mind that it's not just that day, but an heirloom that she is creating. So, go for classy pieces - something that you can wear for a wedding and a cocktail party... something that you can pass along as a legacy to your daughter.
